Ecofin Advisors Ltd. (Ecofin) is an alternative investment manager and holding firm headquartered in London, UK. The firm was founded by Bernard Lambilliotte and John Murray in 1991 and was acquired in 2018 by the Tortoise group of companies; shortly afterwards it changed its name from Ecofin Ltd. to Tortoise Advisors UK Ltd. - it has now reverted to using the name Ecofin Advisors Ltd. Ecofin provides discretionary investment management services to collective investment vehicles, and to separately managed accounts which it manages on behalf of professional investors.
