Matthew Claughton

Matthew joined BGH Capital in 2020.
Prior to joining BGH he was a Managing Director and Head of KKR Capstone Asia, responsible for partnering with Portfolio Company executives to drive value from A$10 billion of investments.
This included Latitude Financial Services, Genesis Care, Sundrop Farms, Australian Venue Company, MYOB and Laser Clinics Australia.
Matthew spent five years at KKR Capstone and was a member of KKR Capstone’s Global Operating Committee.
Prior to that he worked for five years at Pacific Brands and five years at Foster’s Group Limited in a variety of strategy and business development roles.
He began his career with McKinsey & Company.
Matthew is a Director of Village Roadshow, ForHealth and Virtus Health.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
