Matt Olingy

Matt Olingy joined Tailwind Advisors as Chief Financial Officer in October 2019.
Matt is responsible for managing all aspects of financial control and helps oversee the compliance operations of the firm.
Prior to joining Tailwind Advisors, Matt was a Senior Manager in the Audit and Assurance practice at Deloitte in the firm’s Fort Worth, TX office.
During his tenure with Deloitte, he served clients ranging from small private organizations to large SEC registrants across a variety of industries.
Matt’s responsibilities at Deloitte included developing and leading the execution of service plans tailored to fit client needs, advising clients on complex accounting and business issues, and developing and enhancing key firm relationships.
Matt received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Accounting degrees from Texas Christian University.
He is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and an active volunteer at the Humane Society of North Texas.
Matt resides in Fort Worth with his wife and son.
