Dr. Leland J.
Wei is Managing Director at Baffin Advisors LLC.
Mr. Wei started his financial career at Citibank in the analytics group of Global Research, and then moved on to cover quantitative strategy for EM Research at ING Barings and Merrill Lynch.
He also worked at Morgan Stanley as head quantitative strategist in Emerging Markets, in charge of relative value trade ideas, model portfolio analytics, quantitative analysis for hard currency and local currency products.
He holds a PhD in Mathematics from Fudan University; and an MS in Computer Science from University of Southern California.
