Gavey, CFA, is a Vice President & Head of Long Only Investments at Summit Trail Advisors LLC.
He is responsible for all public fund due diligence at Summit Trail, which includes equity, fixed income, and real estate funds.
Other responsibilities include portfolio construction and strategic and tactical asset allocation.
He also serves as a voting member of the Investment Committee.
He started his career at Barclays Wealth Management, where he was a member of the Investment Research team, with a primary focus on fund due diligence.
He has a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship from Brown University.
