As on 01-Apr-2008, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co Ltd. performed a share transfer to become a holding company which works to improve corporate governance of the entire group and plays a vital role in developing group strategy, distributing management resources, auditing and monitoring its group companies and the overall administration of the entire group. It also plays a central part in maximizing the aggregate potential of the group by improving business management, pursuing group synergy, accelerating decision making and nurturing employees through a diverse business/human resources systems.
