Keith Erwin

Mr. Erwin joined has been a board member since November 2005.
He is a partner and commercial insurance producer with North American Group, Oklahoma's largest privately held independent insurance agency.
He joined North American Group in July of 2001 with the merger of North American and Towe Hester & Erwin, LLC of Lawton, Oklahoma.
He began his insurance career in January of 1987, upon his graduation from the University of Oklahoma.
His father was also an insurance agent who died suddenly in December of 1986, leaving him then 22 years old, to manage the business.
Keith bought the agency in 1989 and in 1992 merged with David Towe and John Hester to form Towe Hester & Erwin, Inc. He completed the requirements for and obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1992 and works primarily in the field of Business and Technology Insurance.
He has been a member of or involved in numerous civic leadership organizations and activities including: VP of Planning Southwest Oklahoma Advanced Technology Association; Lawton/Fort Sill Technology Task Force; Chairman - City of Lawton CIP Sales Tax Campaign; Steering Committee - Lawton Public School Bond Proposal Campaign; Chairman - Great Plains Museum Trust Authority; Chairman - United Way of Lawton-Fort Sill Community Wide Campaign; President - Independent Insurance Agent of Lawton; Chairman Speakers Bureau for the Committee for Crusader & Goodyear Expansion; Chairman Lawton YMCA Board of Directors; Lawton/Fort Sill Economic Development Team; Member of: Fort Sill Cannon Cocker Corps; Lawton/Fort Sill chapter of AUSA; Cameron University Presidents Partners; University of Oklahoma Foundation Associate.
