They are an employee-controlled, privately held firm that provides a range of financial services to corporate, government, institutional and individual investors. They conduct business with most of the major financial institutions in Canada, providing securities underwriting, distribution and execution as well as investment banking. The research department focuses on emerging growth companies with an emphasis on in-depth analysis of a company. The focus of their research is to identify moneymaking situations which promise above average returns and possess superior franchises and/or quality management.
