Jonathan L. Alder

Prior to Renaissance Partners, Mr. Alder has represented management clients in all areas of labor and employment law, including union-management relations and employment discrimination litigation.
He has counseled private and public employers before the National and Pennsylvania Labor Relations Boards, and in the negotiation of labor contracts, labor arbitration, and union organizing campaigns.
Mr. Alder is an Ivy League graduate having received his A.B., cum laude, from Princeton University and his J.D.
from Duke University, Mr. Alder is admitted to practice law in the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S.
District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Alder has also served as an influential author and orator helping to assist employers with everyday personnel problems.
While working alongside noted legal publishers such as Butterworth, Mr. Alder has co-authored a number of books on a variety of employment law matters including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and sexual harassment.
