Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Caywood was Managing Director of Investments at Pacific Century Group, a Security Pacific Corporation.
His responsibilities included managing the bank's commingled fixed income trust assets, the Dreyfus Pacific Horizon High Yield mutual fund, and outside institutional assets.
In addition, he was Chief Investment Officer overseeing all institutional investments.
Prior to Pacific Century, Mr. Caywood was Director of Fixed Income Management at American General Capital Management where he managed both the American Capital High Yield Fund and the High Yield fund for the Variable Annuity Life Company.
Mr. Caywood started his investment career at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith as a Vice President of Institutional Fixed Income Sales in Boston and Houston.
He received his BS degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1963 and did graduate work for an MBA at George Washington University in 1968-1969.
He was designated a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1982.
