Dr. James Dowey is a Co-Head of the Global Innovation Team at Liontrust Investment Management Ltd.
He works closely with Robin Geffen to manage the Liontrust Global Equity investment process.
He also leads the team’s global economic research.
He was previously CIO and Chief Economist at Neptune Investment Management prior to acquisition by Liontrust.
Dr. Dowey has taught at the LSE and Aberdeen Business School and worked in actuarial consultancy.
He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and degrees in Economics from Edinburgh and King’s College, Cambridge.
