Ian Cruz

Ian is a Manager of Finance at Canvas Ventures.
He joined the firm in their Menlo Park office in August 2014.
In conjunction with Canvas, Ian also serves as the Manager of Finance at Morgenthaler Ventures and MPE Partners.
Ian previously worked at PwC in their assurance practice, where he primarily served clients in the life science and venture capital industries.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (active) and has a bachelor’s degree in business economics from University of California, Los Angeles.
Outside of work, Ian coaches an amateur boxing team and is the treasurer Dreamland Boxing, a non-profit organization.
He also enjoys traveling, running half-marathons, and spending time with friends and family.
