Iain L. Bratchie

Dr. Iain L.
Bratchie is Research Director at GLC Ltd.
(UK).
He is responsible for the general direction of all quantitative research.
Prior to joining GLC in 1995, he was an Associate Vice President in mathematical trading working on the development and implementation of several continuous trading foreign exchange models at Bank of America.
Dr. Bratchie worked with Lawrence Staden at Bankers Trust from 1988 to 1992 where he developed quantitative models and associated software development.
He started his financial career in 1987 at Prudential Bache, where he developed software applications to integrate mortgage-backed securities into the bank’s systems.
Prior to finance, he worked in the oil industry and was a research scientist for the mathematical modelling & fluid dynamics groups at Schlumberger Cambridge Research.
