Hugues Lucien Christian Decobert

Decobert is a Chief Executive Officer at Square Capital LLP.
He founded Square Capital in 2005 as part of Boussard & Gavaudan Asset Management (BGAM).
The activity was subsequently split from BGAM in July 2007.
From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Decobert worked in the Investment Management Division of Goldman Sachs in New York and London.
He served as a Portfolio Manager for high-net-worth individuals.
In addition, he was in charge of developing Goldman Sachs’ business in France.
In this role, he was inter alia responsible for the establishment of innovative partnerships with various life insurance companies and custodian banks in France and Luxembourg.
At Goldman, he had responsibility for the recruitment and training of new portfolio managers in the London office.
Mr. Decobert graduated from l’école des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC – Paris) in 1991 and received his MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University) in 1997.
