Nordic BioEnergy develops, owns and operates commercial-scale 'biomass to energy' projects. The company manages and performs all activities required to bring its projects from conception through completion, including construction, start-up and operation. Nordic is currently focused on bioenergy projects in the United States and Canada, with a vision to expand beyond these borders in the future. The company will typically own 100% of its bioenergy assets during the development phase. Once permanent financing is secured and construction begins Nordic may retain sole ownership or sell a portion (or all) of the project to a strategic or financial investor.
