Emma Off

Emma Off is CEO, President, and Partner at CincyTech, leading the team in working with entrepreneurs, investors, economic development partners, research institutions, and community stakeholders in keeping with CincyTech’s mission to solve the world’s complex problems.
Before joining CincyTech, Emma spent over a decade in her legal practice, most recently at the national law firm Thompson Hine.
She is a seasoned mergers and acquisitions specialist who served as an indispensable advisor to high-growth companies, venture funds, and the founders, investors, and boards that support them.
Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy continuing forward to earn her Juris Doctor at the University of Cincinnati.
Having spent over a decade in her previous role, she is experienced in navigating the process of communication and processes with key stakeholders throughout all phases of transactions, from advisory to execution and integration.
Emma’s experience has allowed her to lead and manage cross-functional internal and external teams while overseeing external client advisors on due diligence and financial matters, accounting, tax, insurance, and audits.
Emma is a Cincinnati native and has been actively involved in the community through her leadership in organizations such as ArtWorks, ArtsWave, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
She has earned several accolades in her career including current awards, “Lawyer of the Year” in Cincinnati and Chambers USA, “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business,” and selection to Legal 500’s inaugural list of the top 250 M&A lawyers in the U.S.
She currently serves on the board of the local chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
