Elan Miller

Mr. Elan Miller is a Fund Manager at Pengana Capital Ltd.
He joined Pengana in 2004 and has sixteen years of hedge fund experience, managing equity-orientated non-directional and arbitrage portfolios.
Prior to joining Pengana, he had a long career within South African financial services group Sanlam’s investment banking arm Gensec, initially as Trader & Analyst and then as a hedge fund arbitrage manager and proprietary trader, both in South Africa and from 2001 in Ireland, with his responsibilities expanding to that of portfolio manager of the domestic and international multi-strategy hedge funds.
During this time, he initiated and expanded an internal hedge fund, diversifying its exposure across all major South African domestic sectors, from 2001 onwards, expanding its reach geographically to take advantage of global investment opportunities.
Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
