David N. Olson

Olson is Treasurer & Managing Director at Security Research Associates, Inc. since 2004.
Prior to joining SRA, he worked for over seven years in the life sciences industry and was employed with Affymax as the Senior Director of Corporate Development, Titan Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Business Development, and Chiron Corporation as a Manager of Corporate Finance and Business Development.
Prior to working in life sciences, Mr. Olson worked for a boutique investment bank in San Francisco, Plantagenet Holdings Limited, as Director of Investment Analysis.
PHL raised capital for and invested in venture stage investments.
At PHL he led the analysis, valuation, and deal structuring activities.
Mr. Olson received his BBA and MBA from the University of Michigan where he graduated with the honors of High Distinction.
He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society, CFA Institute/AIMR, and Security Analysts of San Francisco.
Mr. Olson has also served on the Board of Directors for several high-technology and life science based private companies where he has managed or played an important role in numerous private placement financings.
