Dave McClure

Mr. Dave McClure is a Member at Sand Hill Angels, Inc. Mr. McClure is an interim CFO, management consultant, board member and an angel investor.
Prior to his nonprofit role, he was a consultant focusing on business strategy, startup company fundraising, mergers and acquisitions.
He assisted a three billion dollar public company in developing and implementing a plan for equity investments, partnering, mergers and acquisitions.
He also worked with smaller companies and nonprofits on strategy, spinouts and fundraising and acted as interim CEO.
Before becoming a consultant, Mr. McClure was a general manager at Cisco Systems after the acquisition of JetCell, a wireless company he co-founded.
Before co-founding JetCell, he was president and CEO of Multipoint Networks, and served in various leadership roles at other Bay Area high-tech companies for fifteen years.
He is a member of the board of directors of two nonprofits, Youth and Family Enrichment Services and Pacific Medical Research Foundation; a member of the board of advisors of the Hearing and Speech Center of Northern California; and, has served on the boards of four high tech companies.
Mr. McClure earned an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, MSEE from the University of Southern California and BSEE from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
