Colin O'Shea

Mr. Colin O'Shea is the Head of Commodities at Hermes Investment Management Ltd.
He is also a Trustee Director of the Hermes Group Pension Scheme.
He joined Hermes Fund Managers in April 2008.
He is responsible for managing the suite of commodity funds, working with the tactical asset allocation team on commodity exposures and since joining has implemented a commodity hedge fund manager program for BTPS.
Prior to this, Mr. O'Shea worked as an Investment Manager with Railpen Investments from 2005 and was involved in setting the strategic asset allocation for the scheme and for structuring the pooled funds of the company.
Previously, he worked at Mellon as an Investment Consultant and he began his career at HSBC Actuaries & Consultants Ltd where he worked in pension’s consultancy.
Mr. O'Shea is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and graduated with 1st Class Honours in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
