Charles W.
Johnson founded Visual Numerics, Inc. in 1970 and currently serves as Chairman.
He is a Member of the Advisory Board of Johnson Bank, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni Fund Board, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Corp.
Development Committee and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Educational Council.
Mr. Johnson is President of the Racine, WI Police and Fire Commission and Vice Chairman of the Racine, WI Zoological Society.
He was Systems Engineering Manager for International Business Machines Corp., a Lieutenant and Manager of the Computer Center at the United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center.
Mr. Johnson has over 52 years of experience in the computer industry.
He received a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1952 and a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1955.
