Frey is President & Chief Executive Officer at Family Capital Trust Co. Mr. Frey founded Family Capital Trust in 1999, which operates according to values and philosophies that helped Old Colony Trust Company become the pre-eminent fiduciary services business in Boston.
In 1973, he began his career in trust banking at the Old Colony Trust Division of the First National Bank of Boston.
Seeing opportunity for career growth in the division, he stayed with the company through various mergers, acquisitions and name changes before retiring from BankBoston in 1999.
At that time, Mr. Frey was the Chief Fiduciary Officer for the Corporation with responsibility for the bank’s global fiduciary activities.
Mr. Frey education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Villanova University, a Master of Arts degree in English from Northeastern University as well as degrees from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Executive Management and the National Graduate Trust School.
