Dr. Zhu is a Managing Director in the Structured Finance Group of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P.
Most recently she was a Managing Director at ICP Capital within the firm’s Advisory and Solutions group.
Prior to joining ICP Capital, she was the Managing Director at GSC Group, She served as a member of the investment committee for fixed income and structured finance securities and utilized advanced statistical models and computational technologies to identify credit risk and investment opportunities.
Prior to GSC, she was a Director in Merrill Lynch’s Global Securities Research and Economics division, where she was responsible for research and publications focused on ABS and MBS securities.
Before that, she worked at Paine Webber, Inc. in developing trading tools for rates products, origination and securitization of agency mortgage pools, and implementation of analytics systems.
Dr. Zhu holds a Master of Science and Ph.D.
in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Shanghai Institute of Science and Technology.
