Tomoaki Ishikure

Tomoaki pursues investment and support for startups mainly in Japan with potential to transform the industrial structure.
He also focuses on creating and driving open innovation through CVC fund activities.
At Recruit, Tomoaki planned businesses and launched new e-commerce services related to sales support in the fields of travel and wedding information.
Later, he was responsible for CVC and investment operations including M&A for new business development and global business expansion of the overall corporate management division of the company.
Tomoaki enjoys manga, movies, foreign TV shows, cheering for his children playing soccer and watching J League soccer games (Kawasaki Frontale supporter).
In his spare time, he goes motorbike touring and sea fishing.
