Simon Lai

Dr. Simon Lai is Investment Analyst at Frontier Investment Management LLP.
He joined Frontier in 2011 with a focus on qualitative research on both existing and potential investments for the FrontEdge Global Hedge Fund and the FrontEdge Managed Futures Fund.
He has over four years of experience in the asset management industry as a product generalist covering various asset classes.
Before joining Frontier, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Bfinance UK Ltd in London conducting fund manager selection practice for institutional investors covering both traditional and alternative mandates.
He started his career prior to the end of his third year PhD in Applied Mathematics & Scientific Computing at University of Greenwich.
He was specialising in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Aeroacoustics (CAA), in developing mathematical models to simulate aerodynamic noise generation.
Dr. Lai holds a BSc (hons) and has completed an MSc course in Computational Sciences & Engineering at University of Greenwich.
