Ryozo Yamamoto

Ryozo joined GB in 2019.
He is responsible for making investments in hardware/manufacturing startups, conducting technical due diligence, supporting portfolio companies in developing products and businesses, etc.
At Honda, Ryozo was engaged in developing engine control systems at the F1 team (3rd era) and involved in activities at Honda's racing division in UK.
At DI and DTC, he mainly supported Japanese tech companies in strategy planning and implementation.
Ryozo is an enthusiast of fly fishing.
He believes that one of the best things in life is a set of walking all day through the mountain stream looking for wild beautiful Yamame (landlocked masu salmon) and Iwana (Japanese char), taking hot spring, drinking scotch whisky and sleeping well.
