Rowland Francis Warburton Flower

Mr. Rowland F.
Flower is an Investment Director at Rathbones Investment Management Ltd.
He joined the firm in January 2012 and he specializes in the management of discretionary portfolios for private clients, including trusts, pensions and other investment vehicles.
He is a member of the Financial Advisor Specialist Group and has previously sat on the Rathbones Stewardship Committee.
Mr. Flower began his investment career in 1997 at Fleming Private Asset Management (subsequently acquired by JP Morgan Chase) where he built up a solid grounding in equity research before becoming a Private Client Portfolio Manager.
In 2001, he joined HSBC Investment Management, where he was made a Director.
He moved to PSigma Investment Management as an Investment Director in 2005, making a significant contribution to the firm’s expansion during his six years managing private client, trust and SIPP portfolios.
Mr. Flower graduated from Newcastle University in 1997 with 2:1 BSc (Honors) degree in Rural & Environmental Economics.
Professional qualifications include the SFA Registered Person’s Certificate (1998) and the Securities Institute Diploma (2000).
In 2001, he was made a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
