Prior to joining Seagate Global Advisors, LLC in 2003, Ms. Lee was Senior Vice President and Director of International Operations at Trust Company of the West (TCW) in Los Angeles.
In this capacity, she developed, structured and negotiated new international joint ventures in China, Indonesia, Taiwan, India and Latin America; and launched private equity and pre-IPO funds, raising total capital of approximately $2 billion investing in those countries.
She also had financial and operational management responsibilities over the joint ventures and funds.
Previous to TCW, she was an Audit Partner at Deloitte & Touche and Spicer & Oppenheim.
She specialized in the investment industry, serving a large number of investment managers, trust companies, mutual fund companies, private equity funds and hedge funds.
She was the engagement partner on several of the top investment manager clients in California and their mutual and hedge fund complexes.
Ms. Lee earned her B.A.
in Accounting from University of Hawaii and became a certified public accountant in 1982
