Mr. Raymond Lai, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at 1832 Asset Management LP.

Prior to joining 1832 Asset Management L.P., Mr. Lai spent 6 years at a well known Canadian Institutional Asset Management Firm, where he co-managed a U.S.

platform.
His particular focus for the Fund was on companies in the Technology, Consumer Products/Services, Financials, Industrial Products, and Telecommunications sectors.
Before that, he was a Senior Analyst, Canadian equities, at another well-known Canadian Institutional Asset Manager.
He was one half of a two-person team responsible for managing a $5 billion portfolio.
Early on in his career Ray was a Research Analyst, Consumer Products, at a major independent Canadian brokerage firm.
During his six and half years there he was a highly ranked analyst for several years in both Brendan Wood International and Buy Side Surveys from Canadian Institutional Investors.
Prior to this, he was a Special Situations Research Associate for the aforementioned brokerage firm.
He earned his Bachelor of Commerce, Finance from the University of British Columbia.
He received his CFA Charter in September 2000.
