Peter Kurz

Mr. Peter Kurz is a Managing Director & Head of Research at Citigroup Global Markets Taiwan Securities Co., Ltd.
based in Taipei.
Peter joined Citi Research in June 2006 with 18 years of experience in the Taiwan market.
Mr. Kurz started Head of Research with Baring Securities in 1988, before moving to Merrill Lynch in the same position in 1997.
While at both Barings and Merrill, Mr. Kurz and his team were consistently ranked #1 in the market in terms of external rankings (Greenwich and Institutional Investor) as well as broking market share.
From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Kurz established and ran Insight Pacific, his own investment advisory and corporate finance boutique before moving to BNP Paribas in 2004 as Head of Corporate Finance in Taiwan.
Peter Kurz completed his Bachelor's degree at Dartmouth College and moved to Taiwan to study Mandarin at Tunghai University in 1980.
He has a Master's degree in International Affairs, specialising in International Finance and East Asian Studies at the Columbia University.
