Ahern Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Mr. Ahern became an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in January 2005.
He previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer and Director of Portfolio Operations of the Company since June 1984.
Mr. Ahern started his career as an accountant for Centex Homes Corporation.
From June 1985 to June 1990, he was an investment analyst, leasing agent and an investment property specialist with CB Commercial, a real estate brokerage firm.
From June 1990 to January 1993, he was an investment property specialist for American Heritage Corporation, a real estate investment firm.
Mr. Ahern graduated from Indiana University in 1982 with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Mr. Ahern is a member of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
