He has extensive family wealth management experience.
His primary career focus is advising ultra high net worth families in all facets of their wealth planning, including estate, gift & generation-skipping transfer tax, income taxes, philanthropy, investment advisory, investment partnerships, family office consultation and closely-held company structuring and succession planning.
Mr. Laughlin has significant experience in advising families while developing trust and confidence of multiple family generations.
His seamless coordination with major law firms, bankers, investment advisors, investment bankers, bankers, fiduciaries and other professionals allows him to provide valuable service to families.
Before joining Andersen Tax, Mr. Laughlin was a Partner at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.
He received his BBA degree in Finance and a graduate degree from the University of Notre Dame.
