Nern Tay Jein

As Partner of AIGF, Jein Nern has over 15 years of investment experience primarily in private equity.
His prior roles include Head of Investments at Ikhlas Capital and Head of Southeast Asia at AIF Capital where he oversaw deal origination, execution, portfolio management and divestments and completed transactions across five countries in Southeast Asia.
His sectoral experience includes manufacturing, logistics, business services and consumer products & services.
Jein Nern began his career with the Singapore Economic Development Board and its investment arm, EDB Investments.
He holds a MSc in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, USA and a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, USA with the Richard J.
Johns Award (Valedictorian) under a full scholarship from the Singapore Government.
Jein Nern is also a CFA Charterholder.
