He was Chairman of the McLuhan Institute, President of the McLuhan Center On Global Communications and a Director of Stan Lee Media, Inc., Torstar Corp.

Mr. Thall was an Advisor of Stan Lee Media, Inc. and lectured at the McLuhan Program In Culture and Technology of St. Michaels College at the University of Toronto.
He was an Accountant-Training of Laventhol & Horwath, Accountants and Clarkson, Gordon and a Member-Audit Committee.
Mr. Thall received an undergraduate degree in Intermediate and Advanced Accounting from York University and an undergraduate degree in Media Science from the University of Toronto.
