Nels Friets

Nels Friets is the founder of Tryb Pte Ltd.
(founded in 2016) and currently holds the position of Executive Chairman.
He is also currently working as a Director at Smartkarma (Hong Kong) since 2017, Fullerton Fund Management since 2011, True Light Capital Pte Ltd.
since 2022, and Calm Collective Ltd.
since 2021.
Additionally, he serves as an Investment Committee member at Bulldog Innovation Group LLC since 2015.
In his former positions, Mr. Friets worked as an Independent Director at Rickmers Maritime from 2009 to 2011, Director at SRI International from 1991 to 1994, Managing Director & Head of Equities at Citigroup Global Markets Singapore Pte Ltd.
from 2000 to 2008, Managing Director at CLSA Asia Products Pte Ltd.
from 1994 to 2000, and served on the Investment Committee at Singapore Totalisator Board from 2010 to 2016.
He also held the position of VP & Finance at Singapore Swimming Association from 2010 to 2012, served as a Board member at International Community School Ltd.

Mr. Friets completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University in 1983.
