Previously, Ms. Isaacs managed the Creative Services Department at Barra, an international financial consulting and computer software firm based in Berkeley, California, where she worked for fifteen years.
She studied anthropology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Far Eastern art history.
In graduate school she studied family therapy at California State University, Hayward.
She lives in Oakland and enjoys dream work, dancing, art, the performing arts, and the outdoors.
Her adult daughter is an artist and teaches and designs websites in Manhattan.
