Mohammed Azam

Mohammed Shafiul Azam is currently an Independent Director at The Peninsula Chittagong Ltd., a Director at Ekushey Hospitals Pvt Ltd., a Director at Sheba Hospital Private Ltd., and an Independent Director at RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Ltd.
He is also a Member of the Bangladesh Bar Council since 1988 and holds the position of President-North & Executive Member at Bangladesh Chhatra League.
In the past, Mr. Azam served as a Member of the Managing Board at Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, President of Bangladesh Medical Association, Medical Officer at Chittagong Medical College, Secretary of Bangladesh Awami Leagqe, President of Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad, and Member of the Managing Board at Chattogram Water & Sewerage Authority.
Mr. Azam completed his graduate degree from the University of Dhaka in 1992, another graduate degree from Chittagong University in 1984, a doctorate degree from Chittagong Medical College in 1990, and a graduate degree from Bangladesh College of General Practitioners.
