Masamune Shin

Masamune joined GB in 2020 and launched the Value Up Team that provides post-investment support.
As the team leader, he supports portfolio companies in achieving business growth.
At a strategic consulting firm, Masamune focused on supporting B2C businesses in strategy planning/implementation, providing hand-on support for private equity funds, etc.
At a listed apparel company, he led the corporate strategy division and digital strategy division as officer.
He developed and executed the growth strategy including promoting DX, developing new businesses, executing M&As, and establishing JVs.
Masamune enjoys running through the valley on weekdays and camping on weekends.
This year, as a new hobby, he began learning the classical guitar from his daughter.
Currently, he is planning to try paddleboarding in the summer.
