He began his career in the financial services industry in October 1987, where he learned an early lesson about market volatility.
He spent a number of years as a financial consultant with a national firm delivering financial planning services to medical doctors and their families.
Prior to joining Odlum Brown, Mr. Comeau worked for over eight years as a Portfolio Manager with a Canadian chartered bank, providing discretionary investment management services to high net worth clients.
In recent years, he have taught portfolio management classes for a CFA study program.
Mr. Comeau graduated from the University of Toronto with an undergraduate degree in International Relations.
He holds Responsible Investment Advisor Certification (RIAC) designation in 2017, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in 2002 and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1999.
