The firm is headquartered in Hong Kong and was founded in 2003. Mirae Asset HK provides discretionary investment management services as a principal investment manager of open-ended mutual funds domiciled in Luxembourg, a manager of exchange traded funds listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, an adviser to private investment vehicles only offered to non-US clients and sub-manager of open-ended investment companies and Korea domiciled funds.
