Jon Mastin

Mr. Mastin joined the firm in 2012 as a Timbervest Regional Forester.
His responsibilities include assisting in the identification, analysis, acquisition, management, development, and sale of timberland properties in the West Gulf Region.
Mr. Mastin has been in the forest industry for more than 19 years.
Prior to joining Timbervest, Mr. Mastin spent 17 years at Temple-Inland, most recently in the Wood Supply division.
As the Operations Leader for Wood Supply, Particleboard, and MDF, he supplied raw material to four particleboard mills and two MDF plants.
Previously, he worked as the Basin Manager for Strategic Fiber Supply and Logistics.
Mr. Mastin also spent many years in the Forest division at Temple-Inland.
While leader of the Plantation Growth and Productivity group, he was responsible for managing approximately one million acres of industrial forest in Texas and Louisiana.
Prior to that, Mr. Mastin worked as Senior Forest Analyst, scheduling harvests and providing analytical support for about two million acres in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia.
Mr. Mastin holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Stephen F.
Austin State University.
