John Chapman

John Chapman joined TVM Capital in 2000, after 16 years of international M&A experience.
As part of the firm’s technology team, he focuses on investments in (removed the word enterprise) software.
Mr. Chapman led TVM Capital’s investment in Swissrisk AG (Zurich) and assisted with the investment in Impress Software AG (Hannover).
He sat on the board of directors of both companies.
He also led the investment in and is Chairman of the Board of iTAC Software AG (Dernbach).
Mr. Chapman also advises TVM Capital portfolio companies regarding potential mergers and acquisitions.
Since 2000, he has advised TVM portfolio companies regarding two acquisitions and seven divestitures.
Prior to joining TVM Capital, Mr. Chapman worked for Paribas where he built up the bank's mergers & acquisitions operations in Germany.
Under his management, the Paribas team grew to be among the top ten banks in M&A in Germany, measured by transaction volume.
Mr. Chapman holds an MBA from the Kellogg (removed the word Graduate) School of Management (Chicago, Illinois) and has completed programs at ESSEC (France) and the London School of Economics.
