Jane Zhao

Ms. Jane Zhao is an EMEA Equity Derivatives Research Associate at Merrill Lynch International.
She is head of APAC Basic Materials and Oil & Gas research.
She joined BofAML inFebruary 2013.
She covers over 30 stocks in HK/China Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors; and co-ordinate the two sectors in Asia Pacific.
She and team ranked No.1 in Basic Materials, and No.3 in the 2017 Institutional Investor All-Asia survey; and have been consistently ranked in the Institutional Investor All-Asia and All-China Surveys since 2014.
Before BofAML, she worked as Director and Asia Head of Basic Materials research in Macquarie for five years; and before that she worked as an equity research analyst in Nomura.
She also worked in KPMG London and HK office for four years, and is a UK qualified accountant.
She graduated from London School of Economics with a Master of Law degree and from Renmin University of China with a Bachelor of Law degree.
