James Christopher Hamilton Lighton

James is a Vice President here at Optum Ventures.
Prior to joining us, James began his career at Polar Capital, where he worked as an investor in public equity markets across Europe.
Subsequently, he led the inorganic growth strategy at Cera Care—a UK-based home care startup.
He graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and has passed all levels of the CFA.
