Gretchen Lash is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Engemann Asset Management.
Before joining the Engemann organization in October 2001, Ms. Lash was a principal and portfolio manager for William Blair & Co. in Chicago, where she initiated and built the large cap growth institutional offering.
Prior to William Blair & Co., she served as a partner at Lincoln Capital Asset Management, where she was part of the management team overseeing $17 billion in institutional large cap growth equities.
Ms. Lash entered the investment profession in 1985 as an analyst and then a portfolio manager for several American Capital growth mutual funds.
Ms. Lash serves as a member of the curriculum advisory board of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business – Center for Investment Studies (CIS Board).
She was a panelist on CNBC’s former television program Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street and is a continuing contributor to Louis Rukeyser’s Mutual Funds newsletter.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Cornell University and an M.B.A.
in finance and accounting from Rice University.
Ms. Lash has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of The Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts (LASFA).
