Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc. is managed by a board of trustees and works closely with the elected school board and the Richmond Public Schools to support their efforts to provide educational support to the children of Richmond, their families and the broader Richmond community. It is a 501c(3) tax exempt organization that partners with the Richmond Public Schools and the school board to develop tax-exempt financial resources and community relationships for Richmond Public Schools. Tax -deductible donations to the foundation may be provided to support specific programs or as unrestricted funds that the foundation will use in its four targeted priorities, i.e., scholarships, student enrichment opportunities, teacher continuing education, classroom needs
