Gary S. Allen

Gary S.
Allen has been affiliated with Cardiovascular Surgeons PA of Orlando, Florida since 2004 and has served as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
He became a Member of the Board of Directors of CardioGenesis Corp.
in October 2005.
He is affiliated with various organizations including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Florida Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery and the Southern Thoracic Society.
Currently, he is a Member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of ESTECH and Alsius Corporation.
Dr. Allen completed a National Institutes of Health granted Post Doctoral fellowship at the University of Utah Artificial Heart Research Laboratory and his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Skidmore College, an MD from Albany Medical College and completed his general surgery training and residency at the University of Texas Healthcare Sciences Center in Houston, Texas.
