Wright is a Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at NovaPoint Capital LLC.
He is a Portfolio Manager working with both individual and institutional clients.
He has over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry.
Prior to joining NovaPoint, Mr. Wright was a Partner & Wealth Advisor at Brightworth where he advised high net worth investors.
He began his investment career in 1991 at Balentine & Co where he rose to Partner.
He also co-founded and served as Chief Investment Officer at Wright Investment Management and at Smith & Howard Wealth Management.
Before beginning his investment career, he was an Engineer officer in the U.S.
Army.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point and his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
He is a member of CFA Institute, Atlanta CFA Society, Southeastern Hedge Fund Association, Atlanta Writers Club, U.S.
Tennis Association, and ALTA.
