Fred L. Bollerer

In addition to his role with New Vantage Group, Mr. Bollerer serves as a Partner with Venture Philanthropy Partners.
Until recently, he served as Senior Management Advisor to the Morino Group.
Prior to that he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Potomac KnowledgeWay Project.
From 1993 until October 1997, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Riggs Bank N.A.
Prior to joining Riggs, he was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of First American Bank of Virginia and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of First American Metro Corporation, the entity that oversaw the First American Banks in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Before joining First American, he spent fourteen years with First City Bancorporation in Texas in various capacities including President of its lead bank.
He began his career in banking at Continental Bank in Chicago in 1967, where he held various positions including the bank's representation in Argentina.
Mr. Bollerer received a BBA degree from Ohio University and an Master's Degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona.
Mr. Bollerer serves on several for profit corporate boards and is on a number of non-profit boards including the INOVA Healthcare Services Board, Heads Up, Center for Multi-cultural Human Services, The Mason Enterprise Institute, The Washington Board of Trade, DC Agenda, DC Federal City Council, etc.
