Elliot Westerman

Mr. Westerman joined Kennedy's Asset Management department as a Financial Analyst in May 2006.
Currently, Mr. Westerman works on office, industrial, and retail properties totaling over 2.7 million square feet valued in excess of $294 million.
Mr. Westerman started his career at Kennedy in May 2003 working for Kennedy's Director of Research, David Lindahl, as Research Associate in the Portfolio Management department.
During this time, he contributed to Kennedy's success by tracking asset and portfolio performances; performing real estate and economic research; and adding research to award winning, peer-reviewed academic articles.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Mr. Westerman worked at Starbucks Corporation as Market Planning Specialist in its North American Strategy Department.
During his tenure there, he ranked market opportunities for retail stores in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
He determined the optimal number of locations in each market and forecasted sales at the site level.
He also trained internal personnel in market research techniques and how analytics can help ensure better business decisions.
Mr. Westerman has expert knowledge of ArcGIS software applications and statistical software such as SAS and SPSS.
Mr. Westerman is currently earning his Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Geography with Honors (focusing on Economics and Geographic Information Science) from The Pennsylvania State University.
During his undergraduate years, he studied for one year at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
He also presented original research on urban and rural poverty at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research and the Appalachian Regional Commission in Washington, D.C.
